What is the world coming to!? I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way, but I'm just saying! The engineers over at Volvo are trying to make vehicles a little more safe for the pedestrians crossing our busy city streets by experimenting with Pedestrian Airbags! There are sensors in the front bumper which trigger the airbags upon contact between the vehicle and the person that was hit. This could be a good thing!!!! But between the airbags partially covering your windshield and the person that's stretched out across the hood of the car, wouldn't you be likely to panic and hit more pedestrians?
